The NRI (Non-Resident Indian) Aadhaar card is free of charge and can be obtained by the individual by physically going to their local Aadhaar Enrolment Centre in India.   • Enter all the details in the enrolment form
  • A valid e-mail ID is mandatory.
  • For NRI enrolment, the declaration is slightly different. Therefore, read and then sign the enrolment form.
  • After that, you must ask the operator to register you as an NRI. For the further identification procedure, you must present your passport.
  • To prove your address and date of birth, you can either use your passport itself or another valid document as per UDAI
  • The next step is to complete your biometric details. This includes scanning your 10 fingers, both of your eyes' irises and, your passport-sized photo using a webcam.
  • Review all the details before allowing the operator to submit
  • A receipt or enrolment slip with your 14-digit enrolment ID and a date-and-time stamp should be collected. By visiting the official site, you can check the status of your card.

How to get NRI Aadhaar Card for a minor?

If the child is an NRI, a valid Indian passport is required as Proof of Identity (PoI). If the child is under the age of 5, a parent or legal guardian must authenticate on behalf of the child and sign the enrolment form to indicate their approval for the minor's enrolment.

A unique ID is created by combining all of these pieces of information, which is why no two Aadhaar can be the same. Because of this, the document is trusted and widely recognised ID proof. 

Following the completion of the procedure, authorities will link your demographic and biometric data to produce your Aadhaar and give the hard copy to your home. If the application is completed, the Aadhaar card will be generated and dispatched within 90 days.
