Today, international travel to and from Saudi Arabia is largely restored, and the country is available for tourism. Travelers who want to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can now apply for a Visa on Arrival (VoA) if they are citizens of one of the 49 countries. The Saudi Visa on Arrival is currently accessible to citizens of the US, UK, and EU, according to the KSA government's most recent update from September 2022.

Requirements for Saudi visa on arrival
- The applicant's age requirement is 18 years old.
- A guardian who is at least 18 years old must represent underage candidates.
- When applying, the passport must be valid for at least six months after the intended entry date into Saudi Arabia.
- In the event of rejection, a return is not available. There is no reimbursement for visa payments.
- If it expires without being used outside of Saudi Arabia, an overstay cost of SAR 100 is charged for each day.
- It is not important what the applicant's religion is.
- Bilaterally agreed-upon countries (the United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea, and Japan) may apply online, at the airport, or through a consulate.
Documents that can be submitted without a visa:
- A return ticket
- A reservation for lodging (just an address is needed)
- A hard copy, though it is recommended to have a soft copy.
- An e-Visa typically takes 5 to 30 minutes to issue.
- Before boarding flights to Saudi Arabia, all airlines perform pre-checks.
The following conditions must be met for tourists with USA, UK, or Schengen visas to receive a visa on arrival:
- The visa is valid.
- There are two types of visas: business and tourist.
- The visa must include an entry stamp from the nation that issued it and be used at least once.
Validity of a Saudi visa on arrival
The type of visa determines how long it will be valid. While a multiple-entry permits you to stay in Saudi Arabia for up to three months, a single entry only allows you to stay for a total of one month.
No of how many times you enter and exit the country in that time, a multiple-entry can only be used for a maximum of three months.
Saudi Arabia Visa on Arrival Fee
The cost of the Visa on Arrival will be SAR 300, and the new comprehensive medical insurance that covers COVID-19 treatment will be SAR 180, including tax, for a total of SAR 480. Only credit cards and MADA are accepted as forms of payment for Visa on Arrival.
